Durst Group: digital print natives

Info&Gest has successfully implemented Durst Workflow Label in combination with Durst Tau printer, achieving significant benefits in quality and efficiency for adhesive labels digital production.

With over 15 years of experience, Info&Gest specializes in the production of custom and neutral adhesive labels, with a particular focus on labels for food contact. The company stands out for its ability to offer intelligent and integrated solutions for every type of production process, and over time has consolidated its position as a reference point for the Italian regions of Trentino-Alto-Adige and Veneto.

Following the integration of the Durst Workflow Label solution in combination with the Tau printer, Info&Gest has recorded tangible improvements. These include increased color accuracy resulting in higher quality labels, more precisely meeting the needs and expectations of customers. By leveraging an ink-saving mode, Info&Gest has also achieved significant resource optimization, saving approximately 25% compared to the previously used solution.

Furthermore, since Durst Workflow Label is a browser-based software, it is a more accessible solution compared to the previous one. Thanks to this feature, the printing technician can easily upload and process images from anywhere without needing to move between different workstations. Moreover, multiple users can collaborate simultaneously on image processing projects without needing to transfer files between devices.

The learning process with the software has also proven to be extremely quick, further confirming the versatility and user-friendliness of the software. Equally remarkable was the integration of the Durst Workflow software into the IT environment, with smooth installation and immediate start-up, allowing the team to start working with the software right away.

Ermes Zambarda, the company's owner, said: "I am satisfied with the Durst Workflow software and our collaboration with Durst. We have many projects for the future, both medium and long term, and we intend to continue with this partnership."

Durst Workflow Label

Developed specifically for the Tau printer series to offer an automated workflow, Durst Workflow Label combines the pre-press and production phases for digital printing business models into a single application for superior efficiency. The software enables simplified management of small print runs and just-in-time production, as well as superior color accuracy.

Ink Saving Feature

Ink Saving is a module of the Durst Workflow software developed to help inkjet printers reduce ink consumption while maintaining excellent color accuracy. Easy to use, the Ink Saving function adjusts the ink consumption of all printer colors by offsetting them with black to achieve an optimized reduction in total ink consumption. By using the extreme level, it is possible to save up to 35% on ink consumption.
