A number of different inks are available for Durst’s Tau printing systems. Depending on the selected application, high resistance, adhesion, light fastness, and color space together with low migration and odor reduction are key criteria that our inks satisfy.
Tau UV inks also impress with their very high print quality.
With the release of the labelpress Tau 330RSC, the new ink set Tau RSC UV Ink has been introduced. During developement the focus was set on excellent flow characteristics with at the same time high edge sharpeness. With 7 process colors it is possible to cover up to 98% of the Pantone color scale and reproduce corporate colors exactly. Tau RSC UV Inks are light-fast and resistant to chemical influences.
Tau RSC UV Ink is available in the colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Orange, Violet, Green and White. It exhibits a shelf life of 6 months.

Rhotex inks are water-based, dye sub-inks for soft signage applications on polyester-based materials. When combined with the new Rhotex generation, they permit direct printing onto textiles as well as printing onto transfer paper. These inks are completely environmentally friendly, free of VOC emissions, and easy to dispose of.
Compared to eco-solvent inks, Rhotex inks offer a significantly larger color space. Hue and color density are far superior to those of UV and latex inks, while ink consumption is very low.
The main applications are promotional media, flags, banners, wall coverings, backlit advertising panels, and stage and trade show construction.
